Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant with expertise in using Odoo ERP to join our team. As an Odoo ERP Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging the power of Odoo to streamline our accounting processes and train our team on effective system usage. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Odoo ERP to manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Customize and configure Odoo modules to meet the specific accounting needs of our organization.
- Train team members on the use of Odoo ERP for accounting purposes, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Odoo ERP with other business systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to Odoo ERP accounting processes.
- Stay informed about updates and new features in Odoo ERP, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working as an accountant, preferably in a role involving the use of Odoo ERP.
- Strong proficiency in using Odoo ERP for accounting purposes, including configuration and customization of modules.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and drive results.
- Experience with training or educating others on software systems is a plus.
- Certification in Odoo ERP (optional but preferred).
